Synopsis: Grown up Danny Torrence, now just Dan, has become a drifter struggling with the same issues of alcoholism & foul temper as his father. After hitting rock bottom he stumbles into a nice little town in New Hampshire & ends up staying there for the next eight years. From time to time he has received psychic messages from a little girl with a very strong “shine.” When the girl becomes the target of a group of traveling vampires who feed off psychic ability she reaches out to her pen pal for help. Thus Dan finds himself again facing down a supernatural foe.


We’ve only mentioned our next movie about a thousand times and now we’re finally going to review it. Will it continue to live up to all the hype we’ve given it over the years? Methinks it will. Synopsis: The gang is called back to Derry 27 years after they fought Pennywise by Mike, who never left town. He calls each in turn - Bill, Beverly, Eddie, Stan, Ben & Richie, & lets them know that the murders have begun again. Each member of the Loser’s Club makes their way back to town, remembering all the horrible things they had repressed in order to become functioning adults. Once reunited, Mike splits them all up again by sending them on a quest for meaningful artifacts from their pasts which they will use in a final showdown with Pennywise.

It’s been a while since we’ve watched & reviewed an anthology but next we’ll be reviewing The Field Guide to Evil. With segments directed by Can Evrenol (Baskin), Severin Flala & Veronika Franz (Goodnight Mommy), and Agnieszka Smoczynska (The Lure), we should be in for a treat.

Synopsis: The Wilson family travels to their vacation home in Santa Cruz for a relaxing getaway, but a trip to the boardwalk brings back painful memories for matriarch Adelaide, who encountered her own doppelganger in the funhouse there when she was a child. Adelaide has been harboring a secret fear that her double is searching for her, & when a group of four strangely familiar people show up in their driveway one evening, she fears that she’s finally been found.


We poopoo remakes but we’re a pretty interested in this one. Next episode, we’ll be reviewing and discussing the remake of Pet Sematary.

Gerald has brought some handcuffs along to spice things up, but when he suffers a heart attack & collapses after locking Jessie up, she is forced to endure a hallucinatory nightmare.
