Alice, along with her two daughters Lina & Doris, is struggling to make ends meet after the death of her husband. She runs a fortune telling business out of her home, & her daughters assist her in fooling their customers with trick cabinets, candles that go out at will, etc. Things start to get real when Alice decides to add a ouija board into her act. It’s youngest daughter, Doris, who seems to have a real knack for using the board.
